2005 · 4.3-litre V8 · Six-speed manual · Black over Iron Ore deep red · London based, nationwide
A black Aston Martin V8 Vantage, the car that put the classic Aston shape back within reach and still looks like nothing else on the road. Ours is an early 2005 coupe with the 4.3-litre V8, a proper six-speed manual and an Iron Ore deep red leather interior that lifts the whole cabin. It is pure British grand tourer, understated on the outside and unmistakably special, which makes it a favourite for weddings, film and TV, photoshoots, PR and events across Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, London and beyond.
Chauffeured by our team for weddings and events, and driven on set by us for film and TV. You are welcome to sit in for photographs. Self drive is not offered unless separately agreed.
Owned by us, hired directly from us
Every vehicle in our fleet is wholly owned by Klassic Garage. We are not a broker or middleman for other people's vehicles. We take real pride in our own collection, and we know each vehicle's history, character and abilities inside out, knowledge that comes with every hire, whether it is working on set or arriving at a wedding.
A black Aston with genuine screen-icon presence, elegant enough for a wedding and cinematic enough for a shoot, across London and nationwide.
The inner James Bond feeling
A black Aston is the definition of understated glamour for a wedding, chauffeured by our team across Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, London and beyond. Timeless in photographs, and a talking point for every guest.
The Vantage carries the spy-car, hero-car association without a single sticker. A natural hero or background car for dramas, adverts and music videos, driven on set by our team.
Black paint, deep red leather and that unmistakable shape make it a gift for editorial, fashion and product shoots, and a premium backdrop for brand activations and launches.
A refined centrepiece for motoring events, luxury launches and private parties, as a driven feature or a static display that draws a crowd all on its own.
When Aston Martin launched the V8 Vantage in 2005, it did something the marque had promised for years, a smaller, purer sports car that still wore the full Aston language. Designed under Henry Fisker and built at Gaydon, it took the low nose, the side strakes and the wings badge and wrapped them around a compact aluminium body.
Under the bonnet sat a 4.3-litre V8, sending its drive to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual with a slick, mechanical shift. It was fast, but more than that it was characterful, the kind of car you drive for the sound and the feel as much as the speed.
Two decades on, that early Vantage has aged into a modern classic. The shape has barely dated, the manual is the one enthusiasts want, and in black over deep red it looks every bit the part.
I first saw one of these when they launched, driving round near my hometown, and I fell for it on the spot. There was just something about the shape and the sound that stayed with me for years.
When the chance to own one finally came up, I knew I had to have it. It is every bit as special as I imagined, and it never loses that feeling. Slide into the deep red leather, take hold of the manual and you understand it straight away.
It is the ultimate inner James Bond feeling.
