Our police advisory is led by Chris Kent-Ledger. Across a 25 year roads-policing career, Chris qualified as an advanced and pursuit driver, attended and managed high-profile incidents, deployed on responses to major disasters around the world, and earned numerous awards and commendations.
It's real operational knowledge, not research, and it's exactly what reads as authentic on camera. On set that means advice you can trust on procedure, kit, rank, radio and, above all, police driving and pursuit, matched to the right era, from period accuracy through to modern-day policing. Chris can advise in pre-production, train cast and crew, or work hands-on throughout a shoot.
Chris is also experienced and comfortable training non-driving principal actors and supporting artistes in how to drive on set, whether that's a standard manual or automatic background car, a hero car or a police vehicle. He has done this with leading A-list names, and such is his experience and the trust placed in him that he has been the on-screen driver for many principals across TV series and films, always praised for his calm and professional nature.
