Land Rover Wolf
1999 · Defender XD · ex Royal Marines
The heavy-duty Defender built to the British Army's XD "Wolf" specification. Ours is an ex Royal Marines service vehicle, the modern-era workhorse of the collection.
Genuine service experience paired with a collection of military Land Rovers, the advice, the vehicles and the detail, from one team.
Klassic Garage provides on and off-set military advisory to productions, agencies and photoshoots. It's genuine advice, drawn from a real military career, we can speak to procedure, kit and how a scene would actually play out, not just how it looks from the outside.
Advice can be paired with vehicles where a brief needs them: four military Land Rovers covering different conflicts, eras and capabilities, from Cold War signals work through to armoured patrol. We provide nationwide coverage, can source any number of matching vehicles to scale a scene, and supply period military signage, markings and liveries to match, with guidance available right up to modern-day military practice.
Military & Police Advisor
Our advisory is led by Chris Kent-Ledger, who brings together decades of practical experience, genuine military service, a career in policing, emergency response and specialist driving, alongside years of support roles in film and television. It's real operational knowledge rather than theory, and that's exactly what shows up on camera.
On the military side, that means advice you can trust on procedure, kit, bearing and how a scene would actually unfold, matched to the correct conflict and era. Chris can advise during pre-production, train cast and crew, or work hands-on throughout a shoot, adapting to whatever a production actually needs, from a single conversation to a full presence on set.
Experience that translates beyond the uniform: authenticity, operational insight and practical guidance for film, TV, adverts, events and specialist projects.
Each represents a different conflict, era and capability, available alongside the advisory service, or on their own as picture vehicles. These are genuine, combat-fatigued vehicles with real marks, scars and authenticity, not show pieces, and where a scene calls for more, we can source any number of matching vehicles to brief.

1984 · Fitted For Radio · British Army
A Series III adapted for army signals work, fitted with whip aerials and a radio installation, the Cold War-era communications vehicle of the collection.
1988 · Weapons Mount Installation Kit
The stripped, open WMIK configuration, the fast, lightly-armed patrol platform associated with Special Forces use. Distinctive roll cage and weapon mounts.
1994 · Armoured patrol vehicle
The protected "Snatch" Land Rover, used for armoured patrol duties. The most recent-conflict vehicle in the collection, instantly recognisable on screen.
Beyond procedural advice, we bring period-correct configuration, along with military signage, markings and liveries, including liveries digitally recreated from source material where original reference is incomplete, so a vehicle reads correctly for the conflict and era it's meant to represent.
With nationwide coverage and the ability to source any number of matching vehicles, we can scale from a single hero vehicle to a full convoy. Whatever the theatre or period, the advice and the vehicles are built on genuine service and genuine, combat-fatigued vehicles, not assumption, and not show pieces.
