1933 Austin Six · car-derived baker's van · petrol blue · London based, nationwide
Built in 1933 as an Austin Six and later converted into a van, this one earned its living as a baker's delivery van in England right through the Second World War. Today it is one of the most charming picture vehicles you can put in front of a camera: a genuine 1930s van that we can respray, wrap or brand in house, ideal for fashion, beauty and influencer shoots, pop-up branding, film, TV and events. Road legal and driven to location by our team.
Road legal and driven to location by our team. We can respray, wrap or brand it in house to match your shoot or campaign, and return it to its original look afterwards. Self drive is not offered.
Owned by us, hired directly from us
Every vehicle in our fleet is wholly owned by Klassic Garage. We are not a broker or middleman for other people's vehicles. We take real pride in our own collection, and we know each vehicle's history, character and abilities inside out, knowledge that comes with every hire, whether it is working on set or branded up for a campaign.
Picture it parked outside a London pop-up, wrapped in your branding with prop gift boxes and blooms, a genuine 1930s baker's van built to be the hero prop of a fashion, beauty or PR shoot.
Branded in house and styled with props, the hero prop your campaign is built around.
In its original livery it drops straight into wartime and pre-war London street scenes.
Park it outside a boutique or pop-up, dress it with your branding, prop gift boxes and ribbons, and let it do the talking. Instant vintage charm that fashion, beauty and influencer content builds a whole campaign around.
We respray, wrap or hand-letter it in your colours in house, turning it into a mobile centrepiece for product launches, press days and store openings, a photogenic magnet that draws a crowd and fills feeds.
A real car-derived baker's van with wartime history, driven on set by our team and ready to re-livery to any bakery, grocer or brand of the era for period dramas, adverts and music videos.
This Austin Six started life in 1933 as a car, built new by Austin. At some point its rear body was converted into a van, and it went on to earn its keep as a baker's delivery van in England, working right through the Second World War when every vehicle was pressed into service.
That history is written all over it: the petrol-blue paint and sweeping black wings, the side-mounted spare, the split rear doors and the honest, well-used patina. It is the kind of between-the-wars character that art directors and brands chase and cannot fake.
Today it is a road-legal picture vehicle, cared for and driven by our own team. We can respray, wrap or hand-letter it in house to suit a shoot or campaign, and return it afterwards. Self drive is not offered.
